NGC COMMENTS
This Colombian emerald has a beautiful combination of color and tone. The emerald is 65% primary green color with a perfect 75 tone. This gives the stone an electric green color and is not too dark nor too light. The proportion and finish numbers are good. The depth is a perfect 72.7% and the brilliancy above average at at 50-60%. The only negative is this stone has faint to moderate treatment. However, the price would be over $20,000 per carat if the rock was untreated. Back in 1987, treated Colombian emeralds were totally acceptable to collectors. Grading report signed by Cap Beesley, also.

A serious gemstone for a collector portfolio or imagine this stone mounted in an upscale jewelry piece.
